The battle for the world title was postponed because of Inoue’s injury, and Ancajas would have to wait for him to fully heal. The Japanese camp requested a postponement of the 12-round fight, which was scheduled for November 25. This was due to Inoue breaking his left rib during sparring practice.
On February 24 in the Kokugikan Arena in Ryogoku Tokyo, a bout for Takuma Inoue World Boxing tonight Association (WBA) bantamweight belt will eventually take place.

Ancajas (34-3-2, 23KOs) returned to the win column with a fifth-round knockout of Wilner Soto on June 24 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
On April 8 in Tokyo, Takuma Inoue (18-1, 4KOs) was scheduled to defend the WBA 118-pound title for the first time against Liborio Solis via unanimous decision over twelve rounds.
Ancajas was given the opportunity to prove himself after losing the first match by unanimous decision, but in their much awaited rematch, he met the same fate.
Consequently, Ancajas and his team believed that this was the ideal time to go up to the bantamweight division, and they weren’t let down as he stopped Wilner Soto in his debut.

Takuma is presently the World Boxing Association (WBA) bantamweight class champion. Takuma Inoue is the younger brother of pound-for-pound fighter of the year candidate Naoya Inoue, who previously prevented Filipino opponent Marlon Tapales from unifying the super bantamweight category.
The fight was originally set for November 25, 2023, however Inoue was forced to withdraw because of a fracture to his left rib that he suffered during training camp.
With the agreement of both sides to postpone the fight for February, the Filipino pug is putting in a lot of effort to win another world championship in a new weight class.
