In December, Mea Motu, the world champion boxer, will defend her IBO super bantamweight world title against the might of the most populated country on earth.
The 22-year-old Chandni Mehra, her opponent, described her fight as “like a dream come true” to the assembled press at the D&L Events offices. Mehra is the first Indian woman to compete for a professional world title.
